IP TOUCH PAPER - 07 JAN 2006 - HYDERABAD


I have attended the written test of IPTouch on saturday and here I am

giving the paper. It consists of two papers.one is appt and the other

tech. aptt test consists of 10Q and tech 14Q and the total time given

is 30 mins.

the att paper is as follows:-


1. a boy want to buy 3 roses for his mother on her b'day. he saved

1 cent on the first day of the month, two cents on second day, three

cents on third day and so on. on the b'day of his mother he has $3

which is sufficient to buy three roses. when is his mother's b'day?

2. ina party each german ate 2 vadas, each african 4 vadas, each

american ate 8 vadas and each australian 12vadas. there were as many as

germans as there were africans as there were americans as there were

australians. total number of vadas where 234. how many visitors are

there?

3. a grand mother gave some money to her grand child and he spent every

thing by visiting five stores. he went to first store and spent 1$ more

than half what he haveand did the same thing in other stores too. how

much did his mother gave to him?

4. the wall height is 40mts and a worm goes up for 10mts in one day but

fall down by 8 mts. on which day do it reach the top of the wall? (this

type of Q is repeated in almost every comapnies att test)

5.there were some balls in one box. some were blue, some were red and

some were green. how many balls have to be picked up to have two balls

of same color? ( this is also a repeating Q)

6.two were playing a game and the one who win the game get 1 pebble and

one who lose have to give it. at the end one have 7 pebbles with him

and the have won 7 games. what is the total number of games they

played?

7.All physicians are doctors
some athletes are physicians
same athelets are doctors true/ false


8. All sales are cheaters
no cheater is bargains
no bargains are sales true/false

9.there are x boys and y girls in a class. how u represent the number

of girls in a class from the total number of students?

10.there were 100 students of which 85 like physics, 80 like maths, 75

like .. and 70 not involved in any. how many like both physics and

maths?( Q is not exactly this but some like this)

Tech
1. diff b/w interface and abstract class?
2. what is final func for a class and method?
3. what is diff b/w request dispatcher and sendRedirect?
4.by using errorPage in JSp what is achieved?
5.what is effect of private and protected specifier for a calss?
i did not remember other qs but they are easy. the cutoff is 80% in

each paper. i did 13 out 14 in aptt well but not up to mark in att

test. i think i'll not be selected.

Hope for a better oppt in the near future. Do not get disappointed by

the results. do the best u can and leave the rest to god.
